I normally had four vets researching at once, but that might be overkill.

Make sure you hire a couple more vets in that case since you’ll be needing them a lot, especially if you have education requirements. From there I’d build a couple habitats for the cheap animals along and the usual donation bins, info boards, speakers and even animal talks if you have education requirements.Īfter that I’d unpause, transfer the animals to their habitats, then start researching those animals if they aren’t already researched (some scenarios have some animals done already) since you’ll need some enrichment items to boost their welfare.

IIRC you’re given a decent amount of money to get started in all the scenarios and making a profit isn’t too hard. If you see a cheap conservation-point animal (that doesn’t have any cash options available) then snag it too if you can afford it and need it to reach your species requirement. I’m not sure how helpful this will be, but my general strategy was pause the game, build the required staff facilities, hire staff, and buy as many of cheaper, non-conservation point animals of different species as you can right at the start. Which goals are you struggling to meet in particular? They were definitely tough - all except the first two took one or two restarts, and I had finished them all on medium difficulty except Scholey Manor which I had to drop down to easy on my third attempt.

I only have the base game, Australian and Aquatic DLC scenarios, can’t comment on the new SEA one. I just finished the bunch of them last weekend.
